Show Moroni ' Wm. Hardey, of Salt Lake city, was called here by the serious illness of his brother-in-law, G. H. Bradley. Frank Bradley returned home last week from Mammoth. Andreas Anderson of Nevada is j here the guest of his sister, Mrs. , John Smitii. 1 he dancing party given for the benefit of Gilbert Monsen last Monday Mon-day evening, netted $46.15. Otis Bradley returnee1 from Nevada Neva-da last Saturday. John Irons and Orley Anderson left for California, last Saturday with a carload of Steers. The Bl ack Hawk reunion held here on Feb. 7th, was a great success. A nice program was rendered at the tabernacle. The festivities were brought to a close with two dances, one in the Opera House and one in the pavilion. William Irons last week sold seventy-two head of steers at 5 1-4 cents per pound, netting him $4032. Earl Gaboon sold seventy one steers that Liought'him $3,763. Andreas Sorenson received word last Tuesday morning.that his broth-, er, Peter, had been found dead, on the Red desert, in Wyoming. The boHy will be shipped home at once. M. A. Taylor entertained a number of his friends last Sunday, a fine Supper was served after which interesting inter-esting games were plaj ed, Mrs. Manda Taylor of Freedom, entertained a number of her relatives rela-tives and friends at her home last Thursday. The occasion was the 75th anniversary of her birth. Although well along in years, Mrs. Taylor, is as spry and active as a woman of fifty. She is the mother of ten children, chil-dren, seventy-seven grand-children, and forty-two great grand children. In spite of her age, she is still able to run a stood loot race. For Sale. - S. C.
