R Mitchell district superintendent Ross Nielsen will start his fourteenth fourteenth fourteenth four four- year as track and basketball basketball basketball basket basket- ball mentor at Lehi Lehl Grant Rags Ingersoll will begin his twelfth year jear of service at American Fork and Don Sanky Dixon will make it an even dozen years at Lincoln high in Orem Dean Prior starts his el eighth year as grid c coach ach at Lehi Lehl Earl Giles and Dave Crowton will direct activities at Pleasant Grove and Brigham Young high schools respectively for the fourth year Another ph physical education Instructor will he be added to the Lincoln staff but no other change is anticipated in m the district Veterans at Lehi Nielsen spent his prep years at American Fork before attending Young university where he won football basketball and track letters After graduating from the Y in 1925 Ross coached one year at St. St Anthony Idaho before taking the reins at Lehi His basketball teams have won places in the annual state prep tournament nine times twice gaIning gainIng gaining gain- gain Ing state up runner-up laurels and twice he has coached Lehi to district district district dis dis- dis- dis track honors Dean Prior another former Brigham Young st star r has coached football at Lehi since 1933 in in addition addition ad- ad to Nielsen in basl bas- bas l track and tennis When Ingersoll calls out his football candidates next month his first task with the aid of Leo B.
