The defendant plead not guilty. His case was continued until the May term of court. Mr. Horton was taken to the state penitentiary for safe keeping. The case of the state vs. John Jensen of Ft. Green was tried in the district court Thursday. The defendent was charged with getting money under false presence He plead guilty and was fined in the sum of $100. Mr. Jensen was represented by Attorney W. A. C. Bryan and the state's side was looked after by Attorneys Ryan and McKnight. The case of the state vs. Joseph Sullivan of Eureka was tried in the district court Thursday. The defendant was charged with burglary in the second degree. Upon motion this charge was dismissed against the defendant. He was charged in a y second com plaint with to this charge he pleaded guilty. He waived time and consented to judgement being passed. It was also reported that Mr. Kirgan had obtained work in the city and for the present Mr. and Mrs. Kirgan would make their home there.
