Show STUDENTS wok:: IS DISPLAYED AT JEFFERSON SCHOOL In response to an imiia'ion from pupils and teachers, parens ai-nded ai-nded open house in the Jetlei-sen Jetlei-sen fourth, filth and sixth sialics, the concluding- activity of Urn Ji-j ferson Parents Study Group lor the past four yuitrs. Parents who called at the classrooms class-rooms were conducted by Iupl guides who explained Uie work progress in the various rooms- This informal presentation made it possible pos-sible for the parents and pupils to discuss the child's, own work. Following the dismissal of school visitors assembled in the Visual Aid Room, where Vaughn Kortie. a sixth grade pupil, announced the program. A chorus of forty pupil sang "Gvpsy Song." "Heauliful Blue Danube" and "The EH'-" Readings were given by Ann Thomas and I'liinorah Kennington. Piano solos were played by Beverly Nielso... Owen Hendricks. Amaryllis Heck stead, and Carol Clayton. Pupil-wno Pupil-wno took part,' in the play, "The Golden Touch" were David Pake. Kalhleene Simmons, Uecd Merrill. Colleen Kjar, Faye Spilsbury, Reed Mclntyre, and (Tay'er Forsgren. The program was under the direction direc-tion of Florence Goodlift'e and Lu cilo Woodruff. The lightning was under (he supervision of our electrician, Eugene Larsen, Alma Nelson and Kay Hollingsworth. Mark Johnson was the stage manager. man-ager. Costumes were designed by Doris Dean Hone. At the close of the program, Doris Bennett's eighth grade home making class served refreshments to one hundred and forty guests. i |
