Together Donna and Ken had three sons and one daughter: Michael H. (Ruth) Malan, of Kaysville, Utah; Dr. Mark Kim (Colette) Malan, of Ogden; Marque S. (Sandra) Malan, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Dawn Suzanne “Kandi” (George) Rasmussen, of Waianae, Hawaii. At the time of her death, Donna had twenty-one grand children, and thirty great-grand children who all adore her. Donna had seven brothers and three sisters: Lamar, Gene, and Glen, who preceded her in death. Edward, Robert, Tom, and Rod Hadley live in Utah. Among her sisters, Billie Strauss is deceased. Virginia Pope, and Geri Williams live in Ogden and Bountiful, respectively. She was born March 29, 1913, to Lewis Shaw and Sara Myrtle Rhodes in Liberty, Utah. She married William Brown Clarke on July 24, 1937. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 22, 1938. Edna was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched the lives of many through her Christ-like example. She was a member of the Association of American University Women, Alpha Delta Kappa, and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Thompson Brandi Ann Thompson, 21, returned to her Heavenly Father’s arms on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at her father’s home in Huntsville, from bacterial meningitis. She was born July 19, 1985 in Ogden, a daughter of Gina Thompson and Cory Thompson. She attended public schools and graduated from Ogden High School in 2002. ndi had a passion for life. She was known for her huge magnetic smile and was a friend to all. She was crazy about fashion. Brandi loved snowboarding and boating with her father, and hiking, movies and dinner with her mother. Brandi’s leisure time was spent with family and friends. randi was a hard worker and enjoyed working side by side with her dad at Wasatch Paving.
