Show Thursday, June 7, 2007 0 R E M TIMES Page 11 Obituaries Lorena Pratt Hadfield Lorena Pratt Hadfield, loving lov-ing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, left this earthly life on June 4, 2007. She was born in American Amer-ican Fork on February 21, 1953, the second child of Ralph and Geri Pratt. She graduated from American Ameri-can Fork High School and attended at-tended Snow College. She married Ryan Spafford and they had four children: Amy, Kent, Lori, and Jill. They were later divorced. She met and married Allan Hadfield on March 1, 1991. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple on May 17, 1996. Together they had one son, Jacob. She was employed at the Fourth District Court in American Fork. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership callings. She played the piano and organ beautifully. beauti-fully. Her hobbies included scrap booking, bottling the fruits of LaDean Hone Mecham i t l - - " J LA Our loving mother, grandmother, grand-mother, and sister, LaDean Hone Mecham passed away in her home on Saturday, June 2, 2007. LaDean was born in Salem, Utah on August Au-gust 27, 1926 to Glen and Matilda Hor-rocks Hor-rocks Hone. She married Orval H. Mecham Me-cham on June 19, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LaDean was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithfully serving serv-ing her entire life in many church callings. She was a member of the DUP and proud of her pioneer heritage. Keeping family records as the family historian and doing do-ing genealogy were some of her many hobbies. She loved gardening, garden-ing, needlework, and having her family near. Her entire life was exemplified by her service to her family, friends, and neighbors. She is survived by her seven children: Carolyn (Greg) Finck, LaMar (Anna Beth) Mecham, Suzie Jorgenson, Connie (Glen) Hansen, Stanley (Chris) Mecham, Douglas (Connie) Mecham, Randy (Heidi) Mecham, Kenneth (Rachel) (Ra-chel) Mecham, 31 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Lynn (Luella) Hone, Glayde (Joyce) Hone, Theron (Karen) Hone; three sisters: Nelda Ellison, Ardella (Morgan) Williams Wil-liams and Ila Rae (Walden) Reynolds. Reyn-olds. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Larry Dean Mecham. Funeral services was held Monday, Mon-day, June 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lindon Sixth Ward Chapel, 56 East 600 North, Lindon. Friends called Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday Mon-day one hour prior to services. Sidney (Sid) K. Calton Sidney (Sid) K. Calton, 65. of 418 P Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Friday. June 1, 2007 at the Sage View Care Center where he had been a resident resi-dent of past two months. A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming and former resident resi-dent of Lehi, Utah, Mr. Calton had been in ill health for the past year. He was born on January 5, 1942 in Lehi, Utah, the son of the late Allen and Lapriel Penrod Calton. Mr. Calton attended school in Lehi, Utah and was a I960 gradu- ate of the Lehi High School. He served with the National Guard from 1961 until 1964. Mr. Calton was a self-employed landscaper. His interests were sending time with his dog Sammy, spending spend-ing time with his friends and family, fam-ily, he was an avid golfer, tennis player, handball and racquet ball. Survivors include one brother Ken Calton of Highland, Utah and one sister May Bateman of 1-ehi, Utah; all of his many friends; several sev-eral nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Paul Calton, Eugene Calton and Clae Calton; one sister Vera Lyn. Following cremation at the Vase White Mountain Crematory, there will be no services at Mr. Calton's request. Kathryn Lillian Ayre Clements 1 h ' One of our Heavenly Father's faithful daughters returned to His presence on May 29, 2007, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. Kathryn was born Oct. 4, 1914, to John Robson Ayre and Catherine Christensen in Scofield, Utah. She moved to Murray, Utah, where she played basketball and baseball in High School and graduated in 1933. She married Henry Glen Clements on Nov. 24, 1939. It was the beginning begin-ning of 51 wonderful years. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple on Dec. 7, 1951. They had twin daughters and a son. Glen built a beautiful home in American Fork where they lived for 53 years. They loved to travel and went to almost every state and also visited the Holy Land and England. They went to Alaska many times and canned salmon. There was a great love between them. Kathryn was a dedicated member mem-ber of the LDS Church and was baptized in the historic Salt Lake Tabernacle. She loved serving in the Relief Society, Primary and Mutual. She especially enjoyed teaching at the American Fork Training Center. She was a temple worker in the Provo Temple with Glen and attended the Temple weekly for many years. Kathryn and Glen gave many B(X)ks of Mormon away in their travels. She was a wonderful wonder-ful woman and a great example to all who knew her. She will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children: Fay (Frank) Jaynes, Kay (Clark) Harding and Gerald (Gaylene) Clements, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Preceded in death by her parents par-ents and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice for all their loving help and support the last several months. A celebration of Kathryn's life was held on Sat. June 2, 2007 at 11 am in the American Fork 6th Ward, 320 N 100 E.
