Show C of C Begins Active 1941 Program SECRETARY REPORTS ON WEEK'S TRAINING Committees Begin Organization Of Year's Program Fired with enthusiasm over the recent re-organizatlon, the Preston Chamber of Commerce prepared to embark to an extensive ex-tensive program for 1941, starting start-ing out this week with a series of projects and with courltless others in the development stages. Plans were also made to welcome wel-come the governor's party to Preston on Friday and for a delegation to make the tour of the highways, mineral depojits and the proposed site for the fish hatchery. t Additional enthusiasm was pro-Tided pro-Tided at the meeting of the board n directors this week by the report re-port of Secretary Mel Reeves who has Just returned from a week's training period under Gus Bach-man, Bach-man, secretary of the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. Secretary Reeves reported on countless suggestions and ideas for the successful operation of the organization', or-ganization', many which may soon be initiated here. Various committees have begun to lay plans for the year, the merchants' mer-chants' committee organizing this week, mapping; plans for an extensive exten-sive series of trade promotions. 0 o |
