Show "MINERSVILLE By MRS. LILLIAN McKNIGHT Mr. and Mrs. Bob Doteon have moved to Ploche, Nev., where Bob j is employed. Floyd Rollins, who has been receiving re-ceiving medical care at Bushnell hospital, is home visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern RollinB. Mrs. Clyde Marshall has been to Richfield this week for medical care. Friday evening the Minersvillo Grade School presented an operetta, oper-etta, "The Land of the Rosetree, or Sleeping Beauty." It was very well done. Every child had a part. Sunday evening the program was given by the Primary Association. Each class gave a number. All of it was based on the there, "Reverence "Rev-erence in the House of the Lord." Miss Maizie Roberts of Van Nuys, Calif., is a guest of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hollingshead. A new son was born to Mrs. Viola Pickett last Saturday in the Milford Mil-ford hospital. Both mother and baby are doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Dotson have gone to Salt Lake City on a business trip. Friday evening the Junior High School is giving their annual spring dance. The hall is beautifully decorated. dec-orated. The Milford orchestra will play. Guests at the Lawrence Dotson home this week are Mrs. Eva Cooley, Mrs. Rath Greer and Mrs. Eernice Fogden of Long Beach. All are daughters of Mr. and rMs. Dotson. Calvin Carter, son of G. W. Carter, Car-ter, is home from the navy. Cnl has served in the Pacific for the past 2 years, and has now been discharged. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marshall and young daughter Aldene have I motored to California, accom-I accom-I panied by their son Fay, who is re-! re-! porting back to his naval base, j where he will receive a discharge. |
