Show Bride-Elect Is (Honored At Social Events Complimented at a bridal I tea last Thursday, May 22, was Miss Flora Wogec, whose marriage mar-riage to James W. Sickles will take place Saturday, May 31, at St. Helen's Catholic Church. I Co-hostesses for the pre-nup-i tial event were Mrs. Tony Le-mieux Le-mieux and Mrs. Jack Zimmer-! Zimmer-! man, who entertained at the Le-I Le-I mieux residence Approximately i fifty guests called between the hours of 7 and 10 p. m. . Color scheme predominate in decorations and refreshments , was green and orchid, with a I profusion of lilacs throughout I the rooms. I Standing with the bride-elecl in the receiving line were her I mother, Mrs. Mary Wogec, and I her sister, Miss Esther Wogec. Mrs. Karl Betts was in chargo i of the gift room and Mrs. Boyd Neilson and Miss Marlene Fredrickson Fred-rickson supervised the serving. Altar Society Party Another event honoring the bride-to-be was a bridal party, given Tuesday evening at the Catholic Rectory by members of St. Helen's Altar Society. 1 Iris and bridal wreath formed a lacy effect for the party setting, set-ting, with a beautiful all-whit? wedding cake as the center of attraction. The following guests wer? present for the occasion: Mrs. I Sue Barker, Mrs. Gordon Harmston. Harm-ston. Mrs. Jewel Kolb, Mrs Charles Reed, Mrs. Edward Yack, Mrs. Charles Roller, Miss Helen Redmond and Mrs. Nel-don Nel-don Nyberg. Lovely refreshments were served and the honored guest was presented with a beautiful wedding gift. |
