Show 1 Society LEAVES FOR COLORADO, After a pleasant two weeks' visit with her sister, Mrs. Robert Reynolds of 1134 Capitol avenue, Mrs. G. B. Hunter left on Sunday morning for her home in Grand Junction, Colorado. Colora-do. Girl Born Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rock-huyzen Rock-huyzen of 547 Twenty-ninth street, are rejoicing oven the arrival of a ten-pound ten-pound baby girl born last evening. HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock the Historical society ladles will meet with Mrs. G. v. Perkins, 2354 Adams avenue. Mrs. J. M. Bishop will speak using as her subject "The Woman j Movement" i FOR CLOYD BARTONEK Yesterday afternoon Master Cloyd Bartonek celebrated his fourth birthday birth-day in a fitting manner. Sixteen o that young gentleman's friends were present and Jollity reigned during the afternoon. About 5 o'clock a daintily prepared luncheon was served by Mrs. Bartonek, ablv assisted by the Mesdames Edglngton, Sewell, Wymer. Schatz, Geiger and Rackham. A red and white decorative scheme prevailed prevail-ed in the dining room ajfd Easter novelties with white canoes as souvenirs sou-venirs were at each little guest's place. As a centerpiece for the perfectly per-fectly set table a large white canoe filld with Easter candy chicks and rabbits had been placed. The following follow-ing little guests were present: Clelles Rackham, Virginia Chrlstensen, June Geiger, "Toddy" Petty, Vlate Pickett, Marion Hussey, May Arnold. Kather-Ine Kather-Ine Wymer, John Hussey, Don Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Ronald Bothwell, Robert Schatz, Clarence Wessler. Ruland Weaver, baby Gilbert Sewall and baby Billie Rackham. In the evening the parents were delightfully de-lightfully entertained at the Bartonek home and were guests at a nicely prepared pre-pared supper. SOPHOMORE DANCE At the Weber academy auditorium tonight, the Sophomores of the school Tvill give a dancing party. SOCIAL EIGHT CLUB "Wednesday evening, the members of the Social Eight Kensington and their husbands' were pleasantly entertained en-tertained by Mr. and Mrs. Chris Aad-' Aad-' neson at their home, 34S Washington avenue. After a tempting dinner had been served, the remainder of the evening was spent at "500," prizes being won by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Budee. Mrs. J. L. Whitaker and Mr. Carl Red-field. Red-field. Those present were: Messrs. and Mesdames C. Aadneson, Arthur Budge, S. G. Macbeth, A. E. Read, Carl Rcdfield and J. L. Whitaker. The Misses Blanche Stone and Dot Shaw assisted Mrs, Aadneson in serving. |
