Show " . u CHECK SHOWS 246 DEER KILLED HERE Conservation Officer Wendell Twitchell reported this week that 246 deer were taken from hunting grounds in Franklin county during the season just closed, 150 bucks and 96 does. Checking! stations reveal the following fol-lowing numbers of bucks and does killed in each canyon: Cub river, 3S bucks and 17 does; Mink Creek and Strawberry, 34 bucks and 20 does; Maple Creek, Deep Creek and Crooked Creek,' 22 bucks and 12 does; West Mounts along Oneida county line, 15 bucks and 10 does; Worm Creek, Station and Bear Creek, six bucks and four does; Cottonwood, east to river, six bucks and four does; Gentile valley, 29 bucks and 25 does. |
