Show Well Known Miner Falls to His Death. Just as the News goes to press information comes of. an accident at the Utah-Apex mine in which William Stevenson, Ste-venson, 49, missed a bucket on the 2400-foot level, falling fall-ing 100 feet dying instantly, from a fractured skull. Stevenson was employed in the master mechanic's department de-partment where he has been a valued and trustworthy man for a long time and was known by most everybody on the pay roll. He just recent-ly recent-ly moved his wife and children child-ren to 330 East 7th South,' ' Salt Lake City, and was boarding at the Baker boarding board-ing house in Carr Fork. A receipt for dues paid to Carbon Car-bon Lodge No. 16, F. & A. M. was found in his pocket. |
