Stewart Wright S argent beloved : — r, 2 . -or great-great-grandmorier | oe aten aul 5 passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2005, to be reunited with her beloved husband on this, his birthday. She was surrounded by loving family members. was born July, 8, 1912 in a log cabin her father built on the Duchesne River. She is the seventh of eleven children born to Owen U. and Matilda Casper Wright. In her early years she attended school in a two-room log cabin and rode to school on a horse. Edna married Morris B. Stewart on March 30, 1930. Their marriage was solemnized October 15, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She taught Primary for over 25 years, and also served as Sunday School Secretary and in the Relief Society. Edna and Morris had two Fm and eight sons. a was known for her great ene rere loved her applesauce cakes, popco cakes, sweet cinnamon rolls, and fantastic a bread. Her children and the neighbor children could smell it a mile away. They would quit playing just to come enjoy a slice of her bread. It never mattered to her whether you were a friend, neighbor, or grandchild, she had things to share. She would give you a piece of dough then you could make your own little loaf. Edna also loved her garden. She was an avid gardener and was always giving starter plants away. Bana jis survived by her loving daughters: Elsie Thomas of Spanish Fork and Ludene (Ed) Fields of Goshen. Six sons: Larry (Marge) of Pocatello, Idaho; John of Ogden; Ralph (Bobbie) of ra Joel (Rhonda) of South Ogden; Dale California; Don (Sharon) of Taylor; 37 sunietitieon, 58 greatgrandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Wells Wright of Brigham City and Earl Wright of Duchesne; and one sister, Elma Clark of Bountiful. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Jim and Charles ewart; seven brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Edna loved her children. She was thankful for her daughters’ loving and unselfish care in her later years. Grandma will be missed terribly by her family, but we find sweet peace and happiness in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her much loved parents, husband, sons, and family members. uneral services were held February 17, 2005, at the Walker Family Mortuary in Spanish Fork. Interment, the Spanish Fork ndolences may be sent to the family at <www.walkerfamilymortuaries.com> “* y Beatrice Shupe Peterson Our dear mother, angel Beatrice Shupe Peterson, 92, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at her home. She was Beatrice Peterson born November 22, 1912 in North Ogden, a daughter of Parley Grant and Luella Chadwick Shupe. She married J. Orville Peterson on April 2, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 2, 1998. She was a member of the Huntsville Ist Ward where she served in many church positions. She had been a resident of Huntsville since 1940. Her life was one of service to her family, neighbors, and many friends. Surviving are six sons and four daughters: Faye (Don) Clark, Ogden; Lynn G. (Maureen) Peterson, Eden; J. Craig (Peggy) Peterson, Huntsville; Donald R. (Mary) Peterson, Hooper; Ka Peterson, Huntsville; James W. (Joy) Peterson, Layton; Joan (James) Rumsey, Roy; Sonya Hartmann, Huntsville; Orville R. (Shanna) Peterson, Eden; Robert Q. ( Debbie) Peterson, North Ogden; 67 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren, and three greatgreat-grandchildren. Also surviving are seven brothers and one sister: Russell, James, Verle, Owen, Merrill, Kay, and G. LaMont Shupe; and Arlene Lucas. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday, February 21, 2005 in the Huntsville 1st Ward chapel. Interment in the Huntsville Cemetery. Vivian was bom November 3, 919 in Ogden, Utah to Marshall and Lottie Herrington. Vivian grew up ina loving family of five brothers and sisters. She fell in love and married Truman H. Carver in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 9, 1938 for time and all eternity. When she married, she quit her job as adental assistant to devote gandhi, sister Beverly (Fred) Honing, Stevensville, Administration. In 1958 they returned to Bronte na; and sister-in-law Barbara Herrington, Las Vegas, - when they purchased Central Drug Store. He was mm in Bronte, Texas on October 23, 1912 to John Ray and Bessie Green Kiker. After the death of his parents in 1916 and 1914, Norman Kiker Norman lived with his grandparents Sparks Alonzo and Sarah Dellah Kiker. He graduated from Bronte High School in 1930 and Texas A&M College in 1942. He was married to Ema LaVeme Smith from October 9, 1949 until her death on January 31, 1971. They lived in Bronte where he taught Vocational Ag; and in Big Spring, Marfa, San Angelo, and Carrizo Springs where he worked for the Farmers Home Wink was also the Director of the Housing “s . + Noe . Authority, as well as the contracting officer during housing construction. In addition, he was mayor of Bronte and served as Coke County Kickapoo Water Control District Secretary. In November 1971, he married Ernestine Harris and lived in San Angelo until 1977 when he then returned to Bronte. He is survived by his daughters and sons-inlaws LaJan and Tommy Walter of Jacksonville, Florida; Kreta and Ronnie Lee of Waco, Texas; and Kathy and Gary Don Allen of Liberty, Utah; grandchildren Kerry Walter, Robyn Lee Hicks, Heather Lee Nay, Amber Lee, Michael Allen, and Mare Allen; 3 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-inlaw Lillian and Carroll Robbins; and two very special friends, Joyce Green and EffieCorley. Family visitation was held at Shaffer Funeral Home in Bronte; burial in Evergreen Cemetery ini Ballinger, Texas; and a memorial service at First United Methodist Church. Vivian was known for her cooking skills and her love of sweets—especially chocolate. Vivian was an active member of the LDS church and served in the Primary, Relief Society, MIA, as well as a Temple worker. Her true love was teaching Jr. Sunday School. Throughout her life she had an unfaltering testimony of the gospel. Vivian is survived by her husband Truman H. Carver and her two sons Truman R. (Kathy) Carver, Kaysville and Michael J.
