Produced and directed by Busch, the "Boy in the Briars" is a poetical study in reflections. It is the story of a boy who is reflecting upon the past experiences experi-ences of his own life. AGAIN, IN keeping with the mood of the play, each character is reflected in the abstract. This new revolution in the field of drama started with the first production of "John Brown's Body." Since then, several interpretation inter-pretation workshops and reader's theaters have developed on many campuses. The two productions to be presented by the University Reader's Theater will be the first to b eproduced on this campus. In this type of production, there is no set design and there are no costumes. Each actor will be wearing black, and the stage vvill have nothing on it except :he black stools the characters ise to sit on while they are not speaking. For those who are interested n drama, art, literature, philosophy, philoso-phy, or anything else, the two plays scheduled are "must sees." Trent ' Busch, Margaret W. Wilson, Judith Wilson, Bill Brazka and Kay Wilkins act out dramatic scene from one of "art plays to be presented Dec. 9-10 in Kingsbury Theatre. |
