Show RETURN FROM JAPAN TO LANDOF BIRTH Yoneo Minagi, born in Milford nineteen years ago, has just returned from Japan to the town of his birth after an absence of fifteen years. M. Minagi, an employee of the Union Pacific railroad at this point for the past twenty-three years went to San Francisco a week ago, where he met his son on his arrival from Japan, and the two returned to Milford Saturday. Sat-urday. Yoneo, will be remembered by the older residents of Milford, as a little chap of four years, when his father took the family to Japan. The father fath-er returned to the states, but has made three trips to the foreign land to visit his family during the intervening inter-vening fifteen years. The son has completed his education in his fatherland, father-land, and returns to join his father in America. Yoneo, who learned the American language before Tris Ideparture for Japan, is unable to converse in English En-glish now, although he is well educated educa-ted and able to read English. He will probably be able to acquire the acent of the American people in a short time. |
