Show MARRIAGE IN FRANCE. It is a mere truism to say that' the welfare of the individual, of society and of the state is best served by marriage, and by early marriage, too. The fact has been established for forty for-ty years that the death rate among all married men over 20 years of age is less than that among unmarried men; and that the death rate among all married mar-ried women over 25 years of age is less than that among unmarried women wom-en The home being the corner-stone of civilized life, society is enriched by the multiplication of homes, and impoverished im-poverished when they are not in normal nor-mal proportion to the total popuTation.
