Roberts, 43, publisher , of the Emery County Progress at - Castle Dale for the past five and s I half years, died at the Price hospiti I Friday after an operation for acute '; appendicitis. ! Mr. Roberts was born in Atchison 'i Kansas, August 21, 1890, a son ol j Delman L. 'and Dora Irwin Roberts j His childhood was spent in Schel 'j City, Missouri. I He enlisted in the United States army June 25, 1918, and saw activ service in the Verdun defensive sec tor with Company L, 140th Infantry 35th-division. He received an honor "j able discharge May 13, 1919. For : ' few years after leaving the service '(he was engaged in farming neai j Centerbury, Ohio. 'l With a sister, Miss Enid M.
