EverYJOne pr~nt pledge<! himself for a specified amount which totals almost half of the required a.mount and a thorough canvas of the ward is now being made to raise the balance necesiary to m~e the much needed addition. They contemplate organizing themselves into some sort of a booster organizatioa to put this project and others they have in mind, into effect. They will win. They show the spirit that never says die. Scouts Celebrate Winning Of State Pennant In celebration of the Wtinning of the State Pemmnt in a recent scout contest, the scouts of Troop 118, Jordan District and their parents, held a picnic in Cottonwood Canyon Tuesday evening. A demonstrati-on of scout activities was folLowed by a program, games and a weinie roast. Thirty enjoyed the affair. Scout Master James Whltmore was in charge. Midvale Couple Wed In Neighboring City The marriage of Miss Ragnhild Vunder and Alvin Stagg took place at Provo June 17th. In the evening a reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vunder at their hom~ on West Center Street.
