Show o I OBSERVE COTTRELL BIRTHDAY Mr. and Mrs, W. F. Cottrell were the recipients of many lovely birthday birth-day presents and a splendid chicken dinner Thursday, August 24, the dinner din-ner having been prepared by Mrs. Roy Cottrell and Mrs. Joe Tribole. The families went up to the cedars: wast of town where was spread all good things of the season, the table being centered with a large birthday! cake with happy birthday and pink! rosebuds as decorations. The follow- j ing partook of the feast: Mr. andi Mrs. Jos. Tribole, Bill, Hazel and ! Frank Tribole; Mr. and Mrs. RoyJ Cottrell and son Ross; Miss Margaret i Moore; and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cot- trell, the guests of honor. A bonfire was made after supper and the fam-j ilies enjoyed games while the chil-i dren roasted marshmallows. The; event will long be remembered by all. The date also commemorated the 2-th year since Mr. Cottrell took1 charge of the car department at Mil-, ford for the Union Pacific. 1 |
