The six week course is designed to prepare noncommissioned officers for greater leadership responsibilities. The course consists of 260 hours of training in such subjects as human relations and leadership, supervision and management, world affairs, military and personnel training, and oral and written communications. With their homemaking skills, their creativity in the arts, their love of outdoor sports and their close family ties, there are never enough hours in the day. When they also handle very responsible full-tim- e positions and thousands do they are even more surprising. Lucille Fage is one of these. She is supervisor ot 11 clerks in the Shipment Control Section of the Transportation Operations Division of Supply. For many holiday seasons she has contributed to the pleasuVe of her fellow-worke- rs treats with her home-mad- e and her beautiful decorations. Off the job Mrs. Fage finds enjoyment in creating artistic adornment for her own home and those of her family and friends. Recently taking a ceramics course she has successfully turned out candelabra, ash trays and other objects, and has finished decorating an dinner set. 18-pie- ce - -- She and her husband, Roy, with whom she just took a Canadian vacation in their new "motor home," have 11 grandchildren, all 10 years of age or under. Sewing for all the youngsters has given her many happy hours. Four wedding dresses were part of her contribution when three daughters and a son were married.
