He is a forceful, force-ful, eloquent, convincing speaker, speak-er, and his remarks brought out very beautifully the following idea, when he attacked the doctrine doc-trine of regeneration. ''In a universe . of law we cannot sin against God, but against ourselves oursel-ves and others. Our faults make their mark, but the sinner can turn away from his sins. The old scars cannot be hidden under un-der the blocd of Jesus, but they can be outgrown. Our sins are not debts for which some one must settle, but defects which we must conquer and outgrow'. We are friends of God as we are Godlike. , We are in heaven so far as we live the heavenly life. The doors are open here for reform, re-form, and they will be open in the future. He who is our lov ing Father here will not become a monster the moment we enter another life." There is some talk of establishing estab-lishing a Unitarian congregation congrega-tion here.
