the mine last week caused some little stir around town the news man paid a visit to the property last friday and was shown through the property by foreman J B simpson who fully verified the report as did also superintendent the strike was made in a raise from the second to the first level a distance of feet on the dip of the vein this raise has revealed an ore body varying from six to ten feet in thickness which ranges in value for a length of feet from 20 to per ton in gold besides silver as high as 75 ounces per ton drifts are now being pushed in both directions i from a point near the center of the raise to determine the width of this high grade chute of lower grade ore of a milling quality there is enough exposed and blocked out between the first and second levels of the mine to
