Immediately Immed-iately after the rally a parade will take place on Main street. This makes six consecutive years that Springville basketball teams have represented the Nebo division i at the state tournament and it is fully expected that this will le the third time out of these six years that the state pennant is brought back. The honors were secured in 1917 nnd again in 11)23. Clark, Burt, Cranmer and Thorn were members of the team last year that after capturing the state title, represented Utah at Chicago, in the international contest. Although Al-though this is Graham's first year on the team he lias made a most wonderful showing. With one monj year of age and one more year of training, the supporters sup-porters of last year's champions feel that there is every reason to believe be-lieve that the showing on the polished pol-ished floor this year will be superior su-perior to any thing that has been demonstrated in the past. Without under estimating the fast quintet the L. I). S. of Salt Lake City, with their wonderful record made this year, it Is still believed possible under ordinary conditions for the Springville hoopsters. to exhibit ex-hibit the stuff that will bring home the laurels. A large crowd of rooters composed of citizens and students will be on deck at every game to give the ncc-esary ncc-esary support from the side lines. |
