Show MAPLETON NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee of Salt Lake City were the guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Diamond entertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davies and daughter daugh-ter Elsie, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Claud Larson of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. John Lee received word Monday morning from Rex-burg, Rex-burg, Idaho, that Mr. and Mrs. Horace Manwaring were- the parents pa-rents of a nine-pound baby girl, born July IS. Mr. and Mrs. James Perry of Salt Lake City spent two days of last week with relatives in Maplelon. A social was held Sunday evening even-ing in the Mapleton chapel for the retiring bishopric. A good pro-grain pro-grain was rendered and a gold watch and chain was given to each of the following: Bishop L. A. Neil-son, Neil-son, L. E. Harmer and Oscar Whiting. Whit-ing. Mrs. Irene Jensen and daughter Elnn of Salt Lake City were the guests a few days this week of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Mendenhall. -Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Perry left Sunday for Salt Lake City, where they expect to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. John II. Lee are visiting in Mammoth for ti few davs with Mr. and Mrs. George Wilde and Mr. and Mrs. George Milne. Miss Frances Bird of Salt Lake City was the guest last week of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. .1. A. Binks of Soldier Sol-dier Summit are visiting iu Maple-ton Maple-ton with relatives. |
