Show E. C. TAYLOR TAKES OVER CIB CAR Will Erect Building in Salt Lake for Distribution of Models. Announcement has been made of the taking over of the local Chalmers agency, agen-cy, which was established here last spring, by the Taylor Motor Car company, com-pany, with Elliott C. Taylor as manager. man-ager. The Taylor company official feel very fortunate in having been able to secure the contract with such a well-known well-known company as the Chalmers, which is one of the largest and best organized manufacturers ot automobiles in the i world. The members of the Taylor Motor Car company are all men who have been connected with the automoll business for many years. They are contracting con-tracting at the present time for the erection of a building which will establish estab-lish them as very permanent dealers for the Chalmers car. Mr. Taylor has been connected with several automobile concerns in the state and is widely known throughout the intermountain country. Speaking of the new agency, Mr. Taylor said: "It has always been my desire to become distributor for the Chalmers cars. I always had a great deal of confidence con-fidence in the Chalmers Motor company and knew if it were to become possible for me to obtain the contract that I would have one of the most desirable contracts in the automobile business. Hugh Chalmers is a very successful man and one who has very excellent business principles. He has some of the most efficient men in the business working work-ing in his factory sales organization and he has one of the most efficient and well equipped factories that manu-faure manu-faure automobiles. "The Chalmers is one of very few , cars that is a manufactured car, and it would really surprise most persons to see how much or the car is really made in the Chalmers plant. The Chalmers people have inaugurated the best service system possible and we will bo glad at any time to explain it in detail to anyone who comes in, and a person buying a Chalmers car can always al-ways feel assured that there is something some-thing definite in their service. It is not necessary for us to keep a customer waiting on parts which may be defective defec-tive while the parts are sent to the factory to got adjustment: all adjustments adjust-ments are made in our office at Salt Lake City on parts, therefore causing the owner no unsatisfactory delay and dispute over parts. They certainly have an excellent service system and they have sought in every way to eliminate anything in their service that might annoy an-noy their customers. ''We have a very efficient dealers' organization throughout the state and we aim to make the people all over the state well satisfied with Chalmers cars. We know that everyone wants one, or at least we know they would want one if they would only go through the factory fac-tory in which the wonderful 6-cW Chalmers Chal-mers is built." |
