Show SENIOR - SOPHS PLAN SOCIAL The Granite high SSS (Senior-Sophomore (Senior-Sophomore Sisters) club has planned plan-ned a social to help the girls get better acquainted. The program will be under the Sylvia Brown. Maurine Labrum direction of Jan Van Leuween and and Sue Cowan were assigned to refreshments and Pauline Metcalf and Joanne Brewer have taken over the advertising. Program for "G" week, one of the biggest events on the school's calendar, has been announced by the committee in charge. The week will be held from Feb. 8 to 11 inclusive. February 8 has been designated as "anniversary day" and will feature fea-ture an assembly from Olympus high school, whose students were former Granite high students before be-fore the school was divided. "Clean Up Capers" has been set for Feb. 9. Students will pitch in to clean up the school and the "Clean Up Hop," a matinee dance, I will feature the day. The next day will be the Farmers Day with students stu-dents wearing aprons and overalls to school. The students will do a complete reversal in their clothes for Feb. 11 and will come in suits, bows, heels and hose. The last day of G week will feature fea-ture the "Red and Blue Day" as all students are urged to be dressed in red and blue, the school colors. . I |
